What is “Sticky Tools”
The Sticky Tools application (hereinafter “the App”) is a bundle of 4 widgets to be installed on Your Shopify Website (hereinafter “the Site”) that help You (hereinafter “the Seller/Merchant”) increase sales by allowing Customers to track certain products (favorites, recently viewed or for purchasing) and follow up if changes in the price of certain products occur.
The App makes is easier for the Customer to navigate the Seller’s/Merchant’s list of products and successfully purchase the desired products.
In the process, the App collects information on customer behavior sharing it with the Seller/Merchant for the purposes of improving marketing and outreach strategies.
Personal information The App collects
In a similar way to other apps available on Shopify, once the App is installed, it automatically accesses certain types of information from the Seller’s/Merchant’s Shopify account:

The App also collects personal information directly from any visitor or customer by using the following technologies:
“Cookies” are data files that are placed on any device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier (please see more on: http://www.allaboutcookies.org).
Use of personal information
We use the personal information collected through the App from the Seller/Merchant and its customers in order to provide the Service and to operate the App.
Additionally, we use this personal information to:
- Communicate with the Seller/Merchant, provide troubleshooting, support services, or to answer questions;
- Optimize or improve the App, test out features or additional services;
- Provide the Seller/Merchant information or advertising relating to our products or services.
In order to deliver the Service, the Seller/Merchant provides us with access to the product orders, products information and store information. The access is granted as soon as the Seller/Merchant installs the app, action which gives us permission to access the product orders, products and store information. We use this information strictly to be able to provide the Service.
Sharing personal information
We may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
The Seller’s/Merchant’s Rights:
European residents have the right to access the personal information we stored from them and to ask that it is corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.
European residents should also note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be or may be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
Storing personal information
As a rule, we store personal information throughout the duration of the contract. It means we will store personal information for as long as the Seller/Merchant has the App installed plus one more day after the Seller/Merchant removes the app (in case the Seller/Merchant wants to reinstall the app right after uninstallment, the collected data from previous installment will not be lost).
Once the Seller/Merchant terminates the contract for the use of the App, we continue to store archived copies of the Seller’s/Merchant’s personal information for legitimate business purposes and in order to comply with the law.
In compliance with legal provisions, we will erase the personal information at the request of the Seller/Merchant based on a valid erasure request.
We will however, continue to store anonymous or anonymized information, such as website visits, without identifiers, in order to improve our Services.
In compliance with legal provisions, we do not: share, disclose, sell or rent personal information to other companies for marketing or other purposes.
We also do not use information collected from the Seller/Merchant in order to contact or market directly to the Seller’s/Merchant’s customers.
Keeping personal information secure
We follow industry standards on information security management to safeguard sensitive information, including personal information. Our information security systems apply to people, processes and information technology systems on a risk management basis.
No method of transmission over the Internet or digital storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal information.
Residents of the European Economic Area (“EEA”)
Constantine Software works with merchants and users around the world, including in the EEA. As part of our service, we may transfer your personal information to other regions, including to Canada and the United States.
When we process personal information to pursue these legitimate interests, we do so where we believe the nature of the processing, the information being processed, and the technical and organisational measures employed to protect that information can help mitigate the risks to the data subject.
Actions available to the Seller/Merchant
The Seller/Merchant can update different types of personal information (contact information, etc) directly through the Shopify account settings – we are automatically notified by Shopify and update the information on our servers as well.
